- Hajj and Umrah season — seats and fares move fast; book as early as your registration allows
- Popular honeymoon dates and school holidays
- Routes with only one or two carriers, where a single price rise has nowhere to fall back to
Why "Wait for a Deal" Backfires
Fares generally drift upward as seats sell, with only small, unpredictable dips. Holding out for a sale you cannot predict usually means paying more and choosing from worse timings and longer layovers.
Things That Matter More Than Timing
Flexibility of a day or two around your ideal date, a mid-week departure instead of a weekend, and accepting one sensible connection instead of insisting on non-stop can each save more than any booking-window trick.
