E-Visa
You apply online before you travel, upload scans of your passport and photo, pay by card, and receive an approval by email to print and carry. Processing is usually a few business days. Convenient, but you must apply in good time and meet the online requirements exactly.
Visa on Arrival
You get the visa at the destination airport or border on landing, filling a form and paying a fee there. It removes the pre-trip paperwork, but "visa on arrival" for a Bangladeshi passport is often conditional — on holding a return ticket, proof of funds, hotel bookings, or sometimes a valid visa for another country. Never assume it applies without checking current rules.
Embassy (Sticker) Visa
You apply in person at the embassy or its visa centre, submit original documents, give biometrics, sometimes attend an interview, and collect the passport with a visa sticker inside. This is the route for Schengen, the US, the UK, China, and others. It takes the longest and needs the fullest document set.
Which One Applies to You
It depends entirely on your destination and on current policy, which changes without much notice. The same country can move between routes from one year to the next. Always confirm the category for your specific trip rather than relying on what a friend did last year.
